What is the difference between flat attenuation and HFA attenuation?
Flat attenuation filters reduce noise evenly across all frequencies, preserving sound quality while reducing volume, making it easier to hear colleagues or machinery at a lower volume. HFA (High Frequency Attenuation) filters, however, reduce high-pitched sounds more effectively and are ideal for environments with extremely loud, high-frequency noises (grinders, plane engines, etc.). Sounds may be slightly altered, as users will hear lower frequencies more clearly.
What is the warranty period for QEOS hearing protectors?
QEOS hearing protectors are guaranteed for 6 years. The Effi-6 guarantee allows you to benefit from a new manufacture of your protections in the event of defect of material, comfort or effectiveness if the controls carried out are not in conformity.
Is QEOS hearing protection certified?
Yes, QEOS is a certified Individual Noise Protection Device (INPD) under the EN 352-2:2020 standard (PPE against noise).
